Clinical Microbiomics strengthens science team 

We are pleased to announce that Timo Kern has joined our science team. Timo holds a BSc in Biotechnology, a MSc in Molecular Biology and recently finished his PhD at the NNF Center for Basic Metabolic Research, University of Copenhagen. During his PhD, Timo worked in the research groups of Torben Hansen and Manimozhiyan Arumugam, investigating the global human microbiome and human genetics to explore host-microbiome interactions and the influence of metabolic diseases on the human gastrointestinal microbiome. Timo is trained in microbiology and microbiome analysis and has extensive experience in laboratory management.
